mini project for lap 5

Question: Do you think urbanization's problems, politics, environment and separation of classes is right?

--Why did urbanization produce separation of classes?

In the urban area there were a lot of struggles for the poor people and not so many struggles for the wealthy people. Urbanization produced separation of classes because of how wealthy a person and their family were due to their working class. Industrialization in the new urban environment began a slow destruction of the natural ecosystem in the urban area. People were treated differently but they still tried to pull through all the obstacles they had throughout the years. Urbanization's problems and politics affected the poor people because of how wealthy they were but throughout the years urbanization has changed dramatically.

Describe/comment on a Jacob Riis photo

Jacob Riis shows people how lives were lived in How The Other Half Lives. The man in this picture has been sleeping in this cellar for four years. It seems like it could be smelly and dirty in there. I feel bad for him because sleeping there for four years is a difficult and doesn't look comfortable. Having two barrows and a board to sustaining him while sleeping or sitting on there is NOT a memory I would want to have in my life. I know the man in the picture regrets getting placed in that cellar.
